And you decide to rent them to tourists. People love to travel to the countryside.
Weebly, Wix or Squarespace is probably perfect for you. You just choose a template, drag & drop stuff and you have a website. Secure, everything managed, zero hassles.
But what if you don’t want a website just to have a website, but actually need one?
And what if Wix, Squarespace or Weebly is not bad but not enough? Not flexible enough, not powerful enough, not enough for you.
Well, I guess you’re left with the option of doing it old school: get a domain name, a hosting plan and build your website.
Depending on your budget, you can start with a cheap shared hosting plan but if you don’t want hosting hassles, your money is better spent on a managed WordPress hosting plan from WPEngine or Flywheel. But it is expensive to hire a developer and it takes time and some skills to customize a WordPress theme.
What if you don’t want that hassle?
I guess your option is to use a drag & drop theme & page builder for WordPress. And it’s great. Your website looks and you’ve manage to build it yourself without paying too much or learning to code.
But as your website gets traffic you notice it’s a bit slow. Maybe more that just a bit. That’s because, unfortunately, most drag & drop themes & page builders for WordPress are bloated.
And bloated or bad code will drag your site down even if you spend more and more dollars on better DNS, better web hosting and a content delivery network (CDN).
Is there a better way?
A way to build your website on a rock-solid foundation, without the code bloat, on a budget, a website that looks good on any device, loads fast and can sustain traffic spikes?
Apparently, that’s what StudioPress Sites is all about. It’s not yet launched, so we’ll know when it officially launches.
What’s included in StudioPress Sites?
- Hassle-free web hosting
- Advanced SEO functionality
- Rock-solid security scanning
- Genesis Framework + 20 child themes
- Automatic plugin and theme updates
- 24/7 support
It might not be as easy to build your website as drag & drop but from my experience with Genesis Framework, it’s not hard either and you don’t have to learn to code.
It looks like a great way to get a hassle-free website for your business, built on a rock-solid foundation.
StudioPress says it’s perfect for bloggers, podcasters, and affiliate marketers, as well as those selling physical products, digital downloads, and membership programs.
